Service Description

This is a paid virtual consultation intended to provide professional guidance, system review, layout discussion, and practical recommendations related to standby generator systems. During the consultation, we can review proposed generator locations, equipment layouts, basic load considerations, transfer switch options, fuel supply considerations, clearance requirements, and general installation planning. We can also review operating concerns, alarm or warning conditions, maintenance questions, and discuss appropriate next steps. Where connectivity allows, photos, live video, or drawings may be reviewed to provide a preliminary or budgetary virtual quote. Virtual quotes are preliminary in nature and are based solely on the information visible and provided during the consultation. Final pricing, permitting requirements, and installation scope can only be confirmed following an on-site assessment. This service is advisory in nature and does not include on-site diagnostics, hands-on troubleshooting, detailed step-by-step installation instructions, or permitting submissions. This consultation applies to permanently installed Generac and Champion standby generator systems only. Portable generators are not serviced. For 30-minute sessions or longer, if you decide to proceed with a new standby generator installation performed by us, the consultation fee will be credited toward the installation. All recommendations are based on information provided during the consultation and do not replace site-specific inspections, code requirements, or permitting approvals. If an on-site assessment or repair is required, a separate diagnostic service call may be recommended.
